Collaborate with Us!
3RQ is always seeking citizen-based groups, conservation districts, watershed associations, individuals, etc. who are interested in participating in long-term water quality monitoring. Interested groups/individuals from throughout the Monongahela River Basin, Allegheny River Basin, and Upper Ohio River Basin are welcomed to join the QUEST.
To participate, you must be willing to collect, at a minimum, data on water temperature, pH, and conductivity, and upload the resulting data to the 3RQ WATERS database. The data will then be displayed on 3RQ web maps.
There is no cost or obligation to become a 3RQ member or use the WATERS database. Simply contact us to find a 3RQ coordinator in your region and begin collaborating with us!

Creek Connections has forged an effective partnership between Allegheny College and regional K-12 schools to turn waterways in Northwest Pennsylvania, Southwest New York, and the Pittsburgh area into outdoor environmental laboratories. Emphasizing a hands-on, inquiry based investigation of local waterways, this project annually involves over 40 different secondary schools and the classes of 50 teachers.
